Interior Car Cleaning

Cleaning a vehicle’s interior the right way is often more complicated than washing the outside. Your interior is made of many different materials, including leather, soft trim, painted and chrome trim, clear plastics, navigation screens, upholstery, and carpet. Each one needs the right product and the right method. At Strong Auto Detail, we bring that knowledge to your driveway with fully mobile interior detailing in Council Bluffs and the surrounding area.

Why Our Process Is Different

Carpet and cloth upholstery aren’t all made the same. Some materials clean up easily, while others need more time and care. Stains vary too. Coffee, cola, milk, grease, oil, blood, pet urine, gum, melted crayon, and chocolate all have different chemical makeups and fall at different points on the pH scale, so they can’t all be treated the same way.

Many detailers shampoo everything with a single all-purpose cleaner or degreaser. That can lift some stains, but it can also set others and make them permanent. We use a multi-step shampoo, steam cleaning, and stain removal process matched to what we’re cleaning. Then we leave your carpets and seats pH neutral to reduce re-soiling and wicking, which is when stains resurface as the fabric dries.

An Honest Note on Stains

Not every stain can be removed. How long it’s been there, what caused it, and whether it was cleaned improperly before can all make a stain permanent. We’ll always treat it the right way and let you know what to expect.

Odor Removal

Smoke, food, and pet odors soak into every surface, so a proper interior cleaning is the first step to getting rid of them for good. For stubborn odors, add our [Odor Elimination Treatment].

Odor Elimination Treatment (Ozone Treatment)

Get rid of stubborn odors for good, not just cover them up. Our ozone treatment breaks down odor molecules throughout your vehicle’s cabin and air system, reaching places that vacuums, shampoo, and air fresheners can’t.

What it works on

  • Cigarette and cigar smoke
  • Pet odors
  • Spilled food and drinks
  • Musty or mildew smells
  • Gym bags, sports gear, and other lingering odors

How it works

Odors soak into your headliner, seats, carpet, and vents. Cleaning removes the source, but the smell often stays behind. We use a professional ozone generator to treat the entire cabin and air system, breaking down odor molecules instead of masking them with fragrance. Once the treatment is done, we air out the vehicle so it’s ready for you to drive.

What you get

  • Odors eliminated, not masked
  • Treats the whole cabin, including vents and the headliner
  • No perfume or air freshener smell left behind, just a clean, neutral interior

Best results

For the best results, we recommend pairing this treatment with an interior detail. Cleaning removes the source of the odor first, and the ozone treatment takes care of what’s left. Heavy, long-term smoke odors may need more than one treatment.

Leather & Interior Coating

Interior Ceramic Coating

Keep your interior looking newer, longer. Our interior coating adds a protective layer to your leather and interior surfaces, so everyday messes are easier to clean up and your interior holds up better over time.

What’s included

  • Leather coating: a dedicated coating for leather seats and surfaces that helps resist dye transfer (like from new jeans), spills, and drying from UV exposure
  • Interior surface coating: a separate coating for your dash, door panels, console, and other interior surfaces to help protect against fading and grime buildup

What it does

  • Spills and dirt wipe up more easily before they soak in
  • Helps prevent dye transfer on leather, especially light-colored seats
  • Adds UV protection to slow fading and drying
  • Keeps that freshly detailed look longer between cleanings

What it doesn’t do

We want you to know exactly what you’re getting. An interior coating won’t make your interior stain-proof, and it won’t repair existing wear, cracks, or fading. It makes your interior easier to keep clean and helps protect it from future damage.

Who it’s best for

Interior coatings work best on new vehicles or well-kept interiors, where you’re protecting surfaces that are still in great shape. If your interior needs some attention first, we’ll deep clean it before applying the coating so it seals in a clean, refreshed interior.
